The purpose of this waypoint is to avoid the many fishing and trawling boats as much as possible since it will be dark and the lights are very confusing.

This is 1 mile east of the end of eastern canal breakwater
***Keep out of prohibited area in Israel.
***Port Said Western breakwater is partially submerged; you must approach WP_PortSaid from the east.
Port Said is one of the busiest harbours and canals. Strict watch is important.
Look out for fishing boats and fishing nets.

Inform Israel Navy on CH 16 on departure from Ashkelon and at WP2.
Reporting within the groups every 4 hours to Group Leaders.

| ARRIVAL |

Meet at WP4 staying east of the eastern breakwater. We will form the fleet into a circle, and then move into the canal in a single line.
If you have a problem of any sort, for example: if you have to arrive late, then contact our representative, Latif Nagib-FELIX on CH 16 at WP_3 PortSaid..
There will NOT be pilot boats needed for the rally yachts. We will go in to the canal on the northern end and must motor between the red and green buoys. But we will have a short cut as shown on the diagram and go along the port side of the Port Said Canal for half a mile and across the canal to the African side to go into the Arsenal Basin. Single file procession 25m between yachts, all yachts dressed.
Berthing by the instructions of our representative.
Keep yachts a safe distance from the quay on leaving for Cairo visit.

Prepare ships papers, 2 crew lists, and passports and money refer to page 77 and put in white rally bag for our representative Nagib Latif-Felix |
| SERVICES |
There are some electricity and water connection points at the quay and the fuel will be provided by jerry cans if requested. |
