On reaching 1 nm from arrival point change to VHF Ch 69 for Mersin Marina.
Give yacht name and Rally Number to the “Mersin EMYR Committee”. Then obey instructions for entering the Commercial Harbour.
This is very busy Harbour, give way and keep well clear of all Commercial Traffic.
The yacht Harbour is situated in the west corner of the Commercial Harbour about 1 Nm from Harbour entrance.
Tie up alongside on instruction of “Mersin EMYR Committee”. Larger boats will be stern-to or bow-to with own anchor

Mersin is a well-sheltered harbour very close to the busy, bustling town. Many shops of all shapes and sizes can be found here with fresh food and fish markets nearby. You will find tasty, freshly-made Turkish Delight—a must to buy for yourselves or to give as prettily-wrapped presents. |
