This marks the fishing harbour where we berth, just outside the main harbour.

REPORTING Reporting within the groups according to Group Leaders instructions. Group Leaders to report to Rally Committee after checking the group yachts.

Each yacht when 1 nm from Iskenderun Harbour must call on Ch 69 for instructions. Each group will have two tiers of yachts, first tier will be stern-to with own anchor on minimal rode, second tier will be bow-to with stern anchor on maximum rode. Group leaders, will designate which yachts will prepare stern anchors. Representative will bring in one yacht at a time
CHECK IN FORMALITIES None.
SERVICES Fuel by tanker. If you can wait for refuelling at Jounieh, it is cheaper and easier. Water available on the quay.
PROGRAM & SOCIAL ACTIVITIES 25 May 2010, Friday. 20:00 Rally Dinner.
Students will be available to escort rally participants around the city to the market or wherever.
26 May 2010, Saturday. Full day tour to Antioch St. Peter Church, Mosaic Museum 20:30 Rally Cocktail at the quay
27 May 2010, Sunday. Free day and afternoon departure according to individual group decision.
DRESS CODE Smart casual for the Rally Dinner.
Boats to be dressed overall in harbour.
NOTES There are numerous oil loading berths located off the coast near the harbour extending as much as ½ mile off-shore. Give them wide berth.
You must try the Iskenderun doner kebap that originated here.
Provision here since there is little available in Lattakia, Syria. Gima supermarket is on the other side of the main road in a walking distance.
CHECK OUT FORMALITIES As this is the final port in Turkey, all yachts must check out. Each yacht will give the white handbag with boat’s name to the Rally representative, with a Transit Log, two crew list, a copy of the ship paper and the passports of the crew. Owner/skipper must complete and sign pages Y2 of the valid Transit Log. Mark Y2 in section VII as Departure of Yacht from Turkish Seaports showing port of destination as Lattakia.
