KEMER
Kemer is a growing beach resort city with huge, gorgeous resort hotels in town and to the south. You will see the armada of ‘day tripper’ gulets leaving daily with the hotel guests. It is pleasant to watch their daily departures and arrivals from the swim platform of the marina.
Exit the marina and turn right to stroll the walking street with shops, markets and restaurants. You may want to take a stroll along the promontory to the south of the marina and visit Yoruk Park (Nomad Park) which is an outdoor ethnological exhibit. This is a good place to sample gözleme, the typical lunch food of the Turkish people and ayran, the yogurt drink which is recommended for good intestinal health and sleep.
